BLOOM | DAY 1 OF 31

Welcome to 31 Days of Words to Love By. For 31 days I am going to work my way through my Pinterest board of quotes and write down my thoughts about each quote – what it sparks, where it leads me, how it applies to every day life... I will be putting a Five Minute Friday spin on it, by writing onto for 5 minutes, free flow and unedited. This largely unedited free-write is linking up with the annual Write 31 Days Challenge. // indicates the start and stop of five minutes. //

Today's quote: Wherever life plants you, bloom with grace.

//What a challenge. The bible says that God places the part's of the body as is pleasing to Him. And in the times where I have felt He has planted me, I have bloomed. But what a challenge to BLOOM and with GRACE when life plants you. Blooming implies that roots go down, that the seed is watered, nurtured. That the soil is good. Blooming speaks of flowers and fruit. Of life. And with grace. There is the wonderful twist. Grace. Unmerited favour and unfair advantage. What we don't deserve and couldn't manufacture. Wherever life plants you, bloom - be fruitful, flower, germinate, grow - with grace - unfair advantage and favour.

Wherever life plants you-- Life can throw twists and turns that we don't expect. I know there have been many times in my life where I have felt dug up and uprooted by life. Where do you find yourself friend? Are you planted where you expected to be? Are you blooming?

After a season of the unexpected, I can tell you, that no matter where life and circumstance so called "plants" you, a heart planted in the hands of Father God and roots grown down into His heart, watered with His love, in soil of community and relationship will not wither and die. It will flourish. You will flourish. Grace is the key. His grace. He is the vine, remain in Him.//

Thanks for stopping by, K xx
